Sixers will be without key reserve Glenn Robinson III again vs. Wizards

The Philadelphia 76ers will be without Glenn Robinson III for another game against the Washington Wizards.

The Philadelphia 76ers continue to be shorthanded so far in Disney World as not only will they be without key veteran Mike Scott, but they will also be without another big rotation piece for the third straight game.

Glenn Robinson III, who suffered a left hip pointer injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the team’s second scrimmage game, will once again be out on Wednesday as the team takes on the Washington Wizards. Robinson III had a strong start to the scrimmage games in Orlando, but the injury hs thrown a wrench into any plans the Sixers had for him.

The veteran from Michigan is having a tough time so far in his return to Philadelphia as he has been dealing with injuries as well as trying to figure out his role on this team. When the playoffs begin on August 17, it would definitely help the team if he can get back on the floor.

The Sixers and the Wizards tipoff at 4:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday. [lawrence-related id=36185,36170,36159]
