On Thursday, the SEC announced the news that the 2020 college football season would be a “conference-only” schedule.
Ross Dellenger was the one to break the news via Twitter that SEC would be going to a 10-game, conference-only schedule that would start on Sept. 26.
This was a decision that followed suit after many other conferences in the country, most recently the ACC, made the decision to play a conference only schedule on Wednesday.
Once the news was released, there were many reactions, including Alabama head football coach Nick Saban and Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne who shared their response to the news on Twitter:

Alabama has also removed the original schedule on RollTide.com.
Alabama would no longer be hosting Georgia State, Kent State, or UT Martin.
Once the Crimson Tide has released the updated schedule, Roll Tide Wire will update you on the very latest!
