The Los Angeles Lakers may not have their full squad together at Lake Buena Vista. The Lakers have a small world now, on a floor at the Gran Destino hotel, but the status of Markieff Morris in that world is currently unknown, and the Lakers aren’t talking.
Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked multiple times about Morris, but declined to answer questions about his whereabouts and his performance, citing “player privacy.” Curiously enough, the whereabouts of his twin brother Marcus, of the Clippers, whom he lives with in Los Angeles, is also unknown.
I asked Frank Vogel how Markieff Morris has looked. He said he won't comment on how players are looking in practice to protect their privacy. Then @mcten asked if Morris is here in Orlando. Vogel declined to answer.

So while we cannot confirm any suspicions, it sure does seem like Markieff is not yet available for the Lakers given these denials and non-answers from the team. Whatever the reasons are, it’s not ideal for either team to not have a full squad. While not having Morris is far from a crucial blow to the Lakers, in addition to the injury to Rajon Rondo as well as the opt-out from Avery Bradley, the Lakers road to the postseason has been far from smooth.
