UFC 250 free fight: Sean O’Malley runs through Jose Quinonez in return

Watch as Sean O’Malley returns from a two-year layoff to stop Jose Quinonez in the first round at UFC 248.

“The Suga Show” returned in emphatic fashion.

After being sidelined for two years due to a suspension from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, O’Malley (11-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) returned at UFC 248 to face [autotag]Jose Quinonez[/autotag] this past March.

And it didn’t take long for the undefeated fighter to remind everyone of the kind of talent he has.

O’Malley came out light on his feet, switching stances and immediately dropped Quinonez with a front kick to the body. He continued to poke at Quinonez’s gut, using his movement to evade any danger.

With Quinonez continuing to pressure, O’Malley landed a counter right that briefly dropped him, following it up with a head kick, a short uppercut and some ground-and-pound to score the first-round stoppage win.

O’Malley faces veteran Eddie Wineland this Saturday at UFC 250. Before he faces Wineland, relive O’Malley’s finish over Quinonez in the video above.

UFC 250 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.
