Someone out there really, really wanted to play golf with Charles Barkley. A round of golf with the NBA Hall-of-Famer sold for $100,000 after 41 bids through the All In Challenge on Wednesday night. The auction was set up by Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin to combat food insecurity amid the coronavirus pandemic. The package specifically includes 18 holes of golf with Barkley at a course in the Philadelphia area with two friends, as well as drinks, a meal and “premium” cigars.
