Vicente Luque and Niko Price delivered wild preliminary bout with non-stop action on Saturday night at UFC 249 in Jacksonville, which Luque won in the third round after the bout was stopped due to major damage to Price’s right eye.
Luque dropped Price with a crushing left that caught Price right on the eye, and he immediately began bleeding severely. The fight was ended via a doctor stoppage, as Price’s eye had completely swollen to the point that he could not see out of it. The win improved Luque’s record to 18-7-1, and was his second victory over Price in his career. Luque previously defeated Price by submission on a Fight Night card in 2017.

In a great moment of sportsmanship, Price embraced Luque after the bout was called off and laughed about the outcome, and later screamed into the camera while showing off the damage to his face.
The definition of the word WARRIOR. 👏
