Texas wide receiver Devin Duvernay was considered one of the best value prospects of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Duvernay happened to be mixed within one of the strongest wide receiver draft classes in recent history. However, his consistency, speed, strong hands, and high character were too impressive to overlook for the Baltimore Ravens.
With the No. 92 overall selection, the Ravens fulfilled a lifelong dream of the speedy slot receiver from Texas.
Duvernay can contribute immediately in the slot for Ravens, where they sought another weapon in the passing game to compliment Marquise Brown. He joins former Longhorns DeShon Elliott, Justin Tucker, and Earl Thomas in Baltimore.
He compiled one of the best individual seasons in Texas history as a senior, finishing with 106 receptions and 1,386 receiving yards. Although his numbers were atop the national rankings for receivers, he was snubbed from major postseason awards.
What an absolute steal for the Ravens at the end of day two.
