Tennessee offers 2023 athlete Michael Daugherty

Tennessee offers 2023 athlete Michael Daugherty.

Tennessee has offered Michael Daugherty from Loganville, Georgia to be a part of the 2023 recruiting class.

Tennessee extended the offer on Easter Sunday, giving Daugherty his third SEC offer. Auburn and Kentucky have also offered the 6-foot, 160-pound athlete, along with Florida State, Maryland, Minnesota and Pittsburgh.

Daugherty does not yet have a rating on 247Sports, and is listed as an athlete. The freshman at Grayson High School – current Tennessee offensive tackle Wanya Morris’ alma mater – primarily played cornerback in his first season of prep action, showing an extraordinary tackling ability at such a young age.

Defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley is Tennessee’s primary recruiter for Daugherty, and the Vols do not yet have a commit in the 2022 and 2023 recruiting classes.
