The Masters is a tradition unlike any other. At least that’s what they fantastic marketers have made us believe and as a result get even me, not a huge golf fan whatsoever, to live and die with The Masters every April.
Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock you’re aware by now that The Masters won’t be taking place this weekend like originally planned. Instead we found out today that it’ll now be scheduled for November in Augusta, Georgia.
Statement from Chairman Ridley:
"We have identified Nov 9-15 as the intended dates to host the 2020 Masters. We hope the anticipation of staging the Tournament brings a moment of joy to the Augusta community and those who love the game."

Now is where the fun comes in for Notre Dame, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Tennessee football fans.
Notre Dame is scheduled to play Georgia Tech at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday, November 14. Meanwhile, Georgia is set to host Tennessee the same day in Athens.
Whether it’s a day or two before or the final round the day after, it’s a once in a lifetime chance to see your favorite college football team play one day and short road-trip from seeing golf’s most-iconic event and venue on the same weekend as Augusta is just a two hour drive from Atlanta.
For Notre Dame fans, tickets are listed today as low as $67 to get-in to the Fighting Irish and Yellow Jackets battle that Saturday. Now we just have to find a way to lock down the hardest tickets to find in sports.
