Amari Cooper intends to re-sign with the Dallas Cowboys, according to a tweet from Adam Schefter with ESPN.
On Monday night, the NFL insider announced that the former Alabama wide receiver, after being pursued by a divisional rival in the Washington Redskins, would be signing a five-year, $100 million deal to stay in Dallas:

The news is not surprising, as it was well known that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had wanted Cooper back. And after starting quarterback Dak Prescott was given the franchise tag, the team’s focus immediately turned towards achieving just that.
Since being traded by the Oakland Raiders for a first-round pick, Cooper has almost instantly become the team’s No. 1 receiver.
In 25 regular season games, the 25-year old has racked up 132 receptions for 1,914 yards and 14 touchdowns, including 79 catches, 1,189 yards and eight touchdowns in 2020.
Now, it looks like Cooper and Prescott will have the opportunity to continue to grow together in Dallas alongside Ezekiel Elliott, Michael Gallup, Blake Jarwin and an impressive offensive line!
