The 2020 quarterback class has gotten another entry from a big-name passer at the college level.
Georgia’s Jake Fromm is leaving school early to enter the 2020 NFL draft. He made his announcement via social media Wednesday.
Fromm leaves Athens as one of the most accomplished passers in Bulldogs history, ranking in the top five of most passing categories in the program’s record books.
Listed at 6-2, 220 pounds, Fromm faces an uphill battle against a deep top tier in this year’s quarterback class, but a strong predraft process could cause a team to fall in love with him. If that happens, he could go from a mid-round pick to a potential Day 2 selection.
