New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has removed himself from the running of the Cleveland Browns head coaching opening, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
McDaniels began a tour of head coaching interviews, with a meeting with the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday. McDaniels will also take his interview with the New York Giants later this week. But the Friday interview with the Browns is off, apparently. This is surprising considering the Browns seemed like a good fit, with quarterback Baker Mayfield on the roster.
