Here’s who the Vikings could play in the wild card round of the playoffs

This is going to come down to the final game.

The Vikings are locked in as the sixth seed heading into the final week of the season.

They’ll play the No. 3 seed in the NFC in the wild card round of the playoffs.

Who will that team be? That will be dictated by Week 17.

Here are the teams Minnesota could play against and how:

Packers

  • If the Packers lose to the Lions and the Saints beat the Panthers, Green Bay will be the third seed.

This one seems unlikely. The Lions are not a good team and the Packers are trying to get that No. 2 seed.

Saints

  • If the Packers and 49ers win, regardless of what New Orleans does, the Saints will be the third seed.

New Orleans could get revenge for the Minneapolis Miracle.

Seahawks

  • If the Seahawks beat the 49ers and the Packers and Saints win.

The most-likely scenario seems to be either the Saints or the Seahawks.

With the Seahawks and 49ers not playing until Sunday night, we’ll have to wait.
