Carlos Hyde rejuvenates run game

The Texans are a pass-first offense, but have gotten a profitable season from running back Carlos Hyde which is certainly worth noting since the Bills defense has struggled against the run at times.

The Texans traded for Hyde via the Chiefs in late August when starting rusher Lamar Miller went down with an ACL injury.

Hyde crossed the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career with 1,070 rushing yards this season. He only had four carries in his last game for a 3.3 yards-per-carry average, however, he averaged a solid 4.4 on the season.

Like with Buffalo’s pass rush, their defensive front-seven is going to be a big factor in this one. If they can handle things in the trenches, the Bills offense might not have to do much to come out on top.
