DeAndre Hopkins, still excellent

While Will Fuller won’t play, Tre’Davious White still draws a very tough matchup in this one against receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Folks watching this game with no dog in the fight will be treated to one of the best one-on-one matchups of the postseason between these two.

In 2018, they had a fun battle as well. In that Week 6 game, Hopkins had five catches for 63 yards. He was kept relatively quiet by White, but he did have one very impressive touchdown catch.

Despite not playing in the Texans’ season finale, Hopkins still had 104 catches, 1,165 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this season. Pro Football Focus also grades him as their fourth-best receiver in the entire league.

For what it’s worth, White clocks in as PFF’s 15th best overall cornerback so far this season, and he finished the year with six interceptions, tied for the league-lead.
