Extend Patrick Peterson’s contract
The Cardinals have opened up talks with Peterson. GM Steve Keim and team president and chairman Michael Bidwill would like for him to play his entire career for the Cardinals. He currently will count more than $13.1 million against the cap. In a contract extension, they could cut that cap number significantly, depending on how they structured it.
