Despite the team already being knocked out of playoff contention, coach Mike Zimmer is still determined to play the starters like it’s any other week of football. It’s on odd choice on the surface, but it could end up making sense if Zimmer’s name comes up on the Black Monday list.
It’s no secret that he’s on the hot seat following back-to-back seasons of missing the playoffs. He recently spoke about the outside noise from those calling for him to be fired, along with the effort he’s putting into trying to win with the Vikings.
