49ers practice report: WR Deebo Samuel still limited with hamstring injury

Deebo Samuel is still limited in practice for the 49ers on Thursday.

The 49ers on Thursday issued a practice participation report that was effectively identical to the one they sent after Wednesday’s practice.

DL Arik Armstead is still out with foot and ankle issues, while DE Samson Ebukam and WR Deebo Samuel were limited. Ebukam is still working through quad and Achilles issues. Samuel has a hamstring injury that cropped up Wednesday.

The only change was LT Trent Williams’ status. He was a full participant after a veteran’s day off Wednesday.

It’s not ideal for San Francisco that Samuel is still limited, but it’s a good sign that he didn’t miss Thursday’s session. The club will issue an official injury report Friday ahead of their Week 12 showdown with the Saints.
