The NFL has started its award season and San Francisco 49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa continues to rack them up.
The former Ohio State star was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year in a voting by fans the league announced on Thursday.
Bosa was one of five finalists nominated for this honor.
The other finalists were Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown, Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray and Eagles running back Myles Sanders.
Sanders carved out a significant role in the Eagles backfield and should provide Carson Wentz with security in the backfield for years to come.
The second-round pick out of Penn State emerged late in the season finished first among rookies in scrimmage yards (1,327) and all-purpose yards (1,641).
Bosa, the No. 2 overall selection, set a 49es rookie franchise record with 16 tackles for loss in addition to racking up nine sacks while helping San Francisco advance to the Super Bowl.
Bosa also earned Pro Bowl honors.
