The Carolina Panthers, in an unexpected development on Saturday morning, placed running back Chuba Hubbard on injured reserve due to a calf strain—effectively closing the book on his fourth NFL season.
2024, however, proved to be a career year for Hubbard—who rushed for bests in yards (1,195) and touchdowns (10). He also signed a life-changing four-year contract extension and earned his first NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his heroic efforts from this past Sunday’s walk-off win over the Arizona Cardinals.
So while it may have met an early end, Hubbard’s sparkling campaign will still go down as one of the best in franchise history.
