The Philadelphia 76ers are getting set to take on the Boston Celtics on Monday to begin their much anticipated 2020 playoff run. They will have to do so without the services of Ben Simmons who is most likely done for the season under undergoing left knee surgery to repair a subluxation.

For the Sixers to get it done against the Celtics, there needs to be a couple of aspects of the game that need to go in their favor for them to have a shot of winning this series. They will be the underdogs considering they are the 6 seed and they are without Simmons so they will be doubted, but that does not mean it’s totally impossible.

An X-Factor is a player who is not necessarily the star–such as Joel Embiid–or a player who is known for stepping up when the time calls for it–like Al Horford. These are guys who need to help make a difference and can have things swing in their favor.

With that said, let’s get into the X-Factors!
