2025 5-Star WR and Aggie legacy out of Fulshear (TX) is ‘Impressed’ with Texas A&M’s coaching staff

2025 5-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh, a Texas A&M legacy, had only good things to say about head coach Mike Elko and his staff.

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko deserves to take a victory lap after putting the finishing touches on the Aggies’ impressive 16th-ranked 2024 recruiting class, securing the recruiting signing of 5-star athlete Terry Bussey, 4-star wide receiver Ashton Belton-Roman, and 3-star offensive tackle Robert Bourdon.

With all three prospects officially added to the cycle, Elko can now completely shift his focus to the 2025 cycle, which includes 5-star wide receiver and Aggie legacy Andrew Marsh.

Marsh, who took an unofficial visit to College Station back on Jan. 20, recently spoke to On3 to discuss where Texas A&M stands in his recruitment as one of the most talented prospects in the 2025 cycle not only has family ties to the university but has been an Aggie fan his entire life.

“Getting to talk to both of those guys just impressed me more by the type of people they are and what they have planned for the program,” Marsh stated to On3.“The biggest thing I could see was just the attention to detail and the way they are just way more approachable and easier to talk to. My biggest takeaway from the visit was that they plan to come in and make some big changes for the good of Texas A&M football.”

Entering his final senior season at Katy Jordan, Marsh, who stands at 6-1 and 173 pounds, possesses the game-breaking speed, soft hands, and impressive catch radius needed to excel at the next level. Surprisingly, Texas A&M, under then head coach Jimbo Fisher, didn’t offer March until last April, on the same day he took his first unofficial visit.

Already recording 2,414 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns in three varsity seasons, Marsh is coming off his most productive season yet, netting 1,158 yards and 15 touchdowns through the air.

According to 247Sports Composite, Andrew Marsh is currently positioned as the 19th-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 5th-ranked player in Texas, and the 4th-ranked wide receiver.
