[autotag]Tausili Akana[/autotag] is a 2023, four-star, 6-foot-4, 215-pound edge rusher from Laie, Hawaii, who has trimmed down his list of colleges to 10 as we approach national signing day.
Akana stars at linebacker for Skyridge High School in Lehi, Utah. The Falcons are 9-1 this season and are the No. 2 overall seed in the UHSAA 6A state tournament. Their only loss this season came to the No. 1 overall seed, Corner Canyon, who they may face in the state championship game.
Akana included the Tigers along with Alabama, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Hawaii, Utah, Oklahoma and Notre Dame.
According to 247Sports, Akana is crystal balled to sign with the Oklahoma Sooners, but the Texas Longhorns are the favorite per On3. That leaves us with many more questions than answers regarding where Akana will play at the next level. Early national signing day is Dec. 21.
