2021 RSM Classic odds, picks and PGA Tour predictions

Analyzing the golf odds to win the 2021 RSM Classic, with PGA Tour picks, predictions and best bets.

The PGA Tour will head to Sea Island Resort for the RSM Classic, the final tournament of the fall schedule. While several stars will be playing the European Tour’s DP World Tour Championship, the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Matthew Wolff and Harris English will be in the field at Sea Island. Below, we look at the 2021 RSM Classic odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions to win.

One of the top players in the field this week is Louis Oosthuizen, who is ranked fourth in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. He’s the only player in the top 10, though Cameron Smith and Scheffler are also in the top 20 and will tee it up at Sea Island.

Sea Island Resort is a shorter course and plays to a par 70. It’s a 7,005-yard track that requires accuracy off the tee and good ball-striking into greens because length won’t necessarily be rewarded. Robert Streb won the RSM Classic here last year in a playoff over Kevin Kisner.

Kevin Kisner (+3000)

Kisner lost to Streb in a playoff here last year, finishing the week 19-under par. He’s been hitting a ton of fairways (73.8%) and greens (76.9%) this season, so his ball-striking is where it needs to be.

If Kisner’s putter can get hot, he can put together a really good week on a course where he’s comfortable after also finishing T-7 three years ago.

He’s a solid value at +3000 this week.

2021 RSM Classic picks – Contender

Robert Streb (+7000)

Last year’s champion, Streb is +7000 to win this week. He’s a two-time champ in this event, also claiming the victory in 2014 after erasing a five-shot deficit to win.

He’s made the cut in his last four starts, including two top-10s in the last three. As a player in the second tier this week, Streb feels like a good bet with his accuracy off the tee (ninth on tour) and putting (28th in SG: putting).

2021 RSM Classic picks – Long shot

Andrew Landry (+10000)

Landry is an ultra-long shot this week at +10000, but he’s worth a small wager – or a bet to finish in the top 20, at least.

Last year at the RSM Classic, Landry finished T-4 thanks to a 65-64 weekend in the final two rounds. Landry has alternated missed cuts and top-10 finishes in his last four events, missing the cut at the Houston Open last week.

Perhaps he’ll continue that pattern and play well this week after struggling in Houston.
