1 clip of a Packers linebacker trying and failing to guard Davante Adams has fans furious at DC Joe Barry

Why would you have a pass-rushing linebacker on Adams?!

I’m not really sure if this was a mistake or the scheme.

Because putting Preston Smith — a Green Bay Packers linebacker known for rushing quarterbacks — on Davante Adams (one of the NFL’s best WRs, in case you didn’t know), with no help seems like a bad idea.

But that happened on Monday night in the Packers’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. What do you think the result was?

Yep. Adams torched him and was wide open for a catch. Everyone pointed the finger at Packers defensive coordinator Joe Barry, even though it was the Packers D that actually played pretty well:

Yikes.
